The stained glass works were executed by G. Owen Bonawit, Montague Castle Studios, Oliver Smith Studios, James Powell & Sons and J. Gordon Guthrie; the foyer contains a WWI memorial plaque cast by Tiffany Studios. The perpetual light suspended over the ark is enclosed in ruby glass set in bronze and was executed by E. F. Caldwell & Company. Elsewhere in the temple are railings by Samuel Yellin.

A 2007 restoration was conducted by Polshek Partnership Architects with Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners and EverGreene Painting Studio. The north annex exterior was used as a filming location for S4E7 of the Amazon Video series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" during a flashback scene of her Sadie Hawkins Day experience as a child.

It is open to the public for visitation from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
