Makrý (Greek Μακρύ; also Makrí) is a Greek island belonging to the Dodecanese archipelago. The island covers an area of 0.581 square kilometers and is uninhabited (2011). Administratively, Makrý is part of the Municipality of Rhodes, a Regional Unit of Rhodes and the South Aegean Islands. Makrý is located in the southeastern Aegean Sea, west of Rhodes, between it and Alimea Island. The distance to Rhodes is approximately 1.4 nautical miles (approximately 2.5 kilometers) and to Alimiá approximately 2.3 nautical miles (approximately 4.3 kilometers).
