A temple of Lord Hanuman, it is said to be built by Swami Ramdas Swami (Guru of Shivaji Maharaj). On the bank of river "wan" in Wari there is ancient Hanuman Temple. This temple is setup/founded by Samantha Ramadasa Swami.

  • I think the wari Hanuman temple has not been properly displayed. This temple is not only historic but carries a lot of significance since Sant Deonath of Anjangaon-Surji was blessed with Sri Hanuman Darshan and hence is of utmost holy for the Nath Sampradaya founded by Sant Eknath.
  • Hitavada (dated 24th Sept 2010) published from Nagpur carries a detailed report of Rajendra Diwe about Wari Hanuman temple.The description of this temple tallies with this spot.
  • place comments: 2 months ago avinashjee 0 read an interesting article by Rajendra Diwe "Devotees find solace at Wari Hanuman's feet" in The Hitavada,Nagpur dated August 24th page 3 Cityline.In his article he could not give exact location of this temple.My track started with Google but could get only that this place is near Jalgao Jamod in Buldana Distt.However Google map was smart enough to give correct location.This temple is situated on the union of three rivers:Kamod,Wan and Gomukh.Wari in sanskrit means continuous flow of water and also represents life cycle of birth to death.In the Ganpatichi Aarti by Ramdasswami there are words "wari wari janma marnate wari,Hari padlo aata sankat nivari".This is the only temple of Hanuman was built by Swami Samarth Ramdasswami 465 years ago and present temple is built by Hanumandasjee in 1871.   • I am from sonala .in wari hanuman there are so many things to look like as bhairavgadh ancient fort,GOMUKH,MAMABHACHA DOH,RAJNYA DOH AND HANUMAN SAGAR DAM on The river Wan.so many scienaries and natural beauty are there.
