This new women's prison is built upon part of the former McGraw Kaserne. Buildings 22 and 54 were previously located here. Anong the various military offices, they also housed the local branch of American Express Bank and the Von Steuben Hall. Von Steuben Hall had a cafeteria, which is where many University of Maryland, Munich campus students ate lunch.

  • When McGraw Kaserne was operating as a US Army post the "L" shaped building on the left was called von Steuben Hall. It was the headquarters of the McGraw Post Commander and his support staff. The building to the right was the Military Police office and Military Police barracks.
