  • Always traffic jam!!
  • Sepatutnya kena buat jambatan, kasi air mengalir terus.. Sekarang ini tak enviromental friendly. Should think about the environment. Kalau nak buat jambatan pun bukan nya jauh sangat jarak antara Singapura dgn Johor. Kenapa laa tak pikir masa buat Tambak Johor nie dulu? Kalau air dpt lalu, ikan pun banyak, air pun jadi sihat.
  • Uncivilisational approach & attitude & comment!!! I am very shamed being a Malaysian living in Singapore in this 21st century.
  • Both countries could consider having ferry services. Like HongKong-Macau ferry link.
  • The reason always jam on causeway is both country have slow immigration process. I hope Malaysian and Singaporean immigration department approaching new system so no slow process in the checkpoint lead to heavy traffic jam. I prefer have straight bridge than crooked one so new project such as bullet train KL-Singapore is materialised.
  • There are many ways to solve the traffic jam problems as well as the security problems of the both countries' borders! First - both need to sit down to have a dialogue/discussion & search for mutual common points or common ground & solution for their own people mutual smooth flow. MRT link to various points or stations of both countries is perhaps one of the best way to ease down the public buses' traffic for both middle classes of citizens either for work shopping or liesure etc purpose. When time space security & budget are favourable, people can travel with advance conveyances/escalators as well as through bicycle ride with connecting lane available. Perhaps eventually when security is well ready - the stop for custom & immigration check-up will be carried out only at one time instead of twice on either side. This is cost, time, energy & pollution effective all in all!
  • Build underground tunnel walkways complete with travelator and also build a link for MRT. So that people can walk underground and also take the MRT.
  • There are already early proposal to create three new bridge across the Johor-Singapore. Just still in a detailed study in the discussion of both governments. To materialize the three new bridge could take decades. The proposal to break the Causeway(Tambak-Johor) will be realized after three new bridge is completed, probably.
  • the causeway start with 10 sea pipes in 1924 then the British blew up 5 sea pipes during the war in 1942 then the Japanese army came and buried another sea pipes then the PUB came in 1961 and pile out 1 more sea pipes to lay 3 raw water pipes then the PWD came and buried another 2 more sea pipes to expand 2 more lane road in 1970 then the JKR came in to redo another bridge that kill off the last 2 sea pipes in 2007 really a crab story cos the crab now day cannot swim cross the eco-link@causeway no more...
