Talkha highway steel bridge is one of the two oldest steel bridges in Mansoura city.
the bridge consists of five-spans and has total length of 230.0 m and width of 20.75 m , it has two vehicle lanes for traffic on each direction and two pedestrian walkways. The bridge crosses Damietta River Nile branch, linking Mansoura city to Talkha city
The bridge was designed and constructed from 1951 to 1953 by a German Company (Dortmunder Union)
