TX Highway 16 / TX Highway 71 (Llano, Texas)

Texas State Highway 16 is the longest state highway in the state at 541.8 miles. It's north-south from 30 miles south of Wichita Falls to Zapata in south Texas. It starts at US 281 south of Windhorst, then through Graham and then is cosigned with US 180 for a short bit. It crosses Interstate 20, then crosses US 67/377 in Comanche. It goes through Goldthwaite, then through San Saba and US 190. Continuing south, SH 16 crosses Interstate 10 and through Kerrville in the Hill Country. It joins the western section of Interstate 410 in San Antonio, then straight south through Freer and US 59. It passes through Hebbronville and ends at US 83 in Zapata.

Texas State Highway 71 runs for about 253 miles. It starts a few miles south of Brady at US Highway 87/377. Then it meets TX 29 and TX 16 in Llano and splits from TX 16 just outside the city. It continues southeast carrying traffic on the south side of Austin. TX 71 goes through La Grange, then crosses Interstate 10 in Columbus. Going southeast, it passes through El Campo and ends at State Highway 35 just east of Blessing.
