US Highway 56 begins at Maxwell Avenue (just east of I-25) in Springer, NM. US 56 and US 412 are cosigned the entire way from Springer, NM to Boise City, OK. From Boise City, US 56 continues northeast through Kansas ending at US 71 in Kansas City, KS.

US Highway 64 begins at a junction with US 160 in Teec Nos Pos, AZ (4 miles from New Mexico) and takes and east-west route across the US. It continues through Oklahoma, southern Tennessee, and North Carolina ending at a junction with US 158/NC 12 near Nags Head, NC.

US Highway 287 travels almost 1900 miles from Choteau, MT (US 89) to Port Arthur, TX (TX 87/16th St.). From its intersection with US 89 in Choteau, it goes south to the west entrance of Yellowstone and restarts at the south entrance. It continues across Wyoming to Denver then to north of Amarillo, TX where it finally meets its parent route - US 87. From Amarillo, it splits off southeast through Fort Worth and finally ending at TX State Highway 87 in Port Arthur.

US Highway 412 starts off heading east at Maxwell Avenue in Springer, NM (it doesn't start at I-25). It travels across Oklahoma and northern Arkansas ending at I-65 exit 46 in Columbia, TN.

Oklahoma State Highway 3 is a border-to-border highway and the longest state highway in Oklahoma. It is 616.5 miles including SH 3E (which used to be mainline SH 3). It runs from the Colorado border diagonally across the state to the southeast border with Arkansas. SH 3 also goes through the capital city of Oklahoma City.
