This used to be part of Lincoln Avenue, it is now closed off and used as private property.
Lincoln Avenue was an original Indian Trail running along a slight ridge in the usually soggy ground of pre-settlement Chicago. Later European settlers named the road Little Fort Road as it continued on to town of Little Fort, now known as Waukeegan.
