Canal Road is the main artery of the Lahore, it connects the southern and northern parts of the Lahore. Almost a million vehicles use this link every day. There is a beautiful green belt is situated on the both banks on the canal which hastens of thousands of trees, these trees act a very healthy role in the city environment.
In recent years this road has been widen and reconstructed to bear the heavy load of traffic. Due to this construction thousands of trees had been cut down.
