vulytsia Hryhoriia Skovorody (Kharkiv)


The first name of the street since 1804 is vulytsia Nimetska ('German' Street).
From May 13, 1899 to January 26, 2024, it was named after the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin – vulytsia Pushkinska.
On January 26, 2024, it was renamed in honor of the Ukrainian philosopher, poet, composer of liturgical music, teacher – Hryhorii Skovoroda.

Vulytsia Hryhoriia Skovorody is the second central street of Kharkiv after vulytsia Sumska.
