Harvey Mitchell Parkway South
The "West Loop" of the city, formerly (and formally) called FM 2818 until renamed Harvey Mitchell Parkway in 1999. The North/South barrier is at Villa Maria Road. It is mostly 60 MPH and four lane road with turn lanes, though the east of Holleman in College Station is much slower, and near the north part, it is only two lanes. A few overpasses exist (not as much as they should be), but there are numerous stoplights along the route, most of which have been put up recently. The right of way is extra wide, as it was designed to have a full highway plus a railroad paralleling it.
