I'd like to see if we can adjust the "Stick Style" category to read "Stick Style (architecture)" to bring it into line with the rest of the architectural categories.
On a related note, I'd also like a category added: "Stick-Eastlake (architecture)". This is a distinct sub-type of Stick Style architecture that has Eastlake elements included in it..."geometric ornaments, spindles, low relief carvings, and incised lines" as Wikipedia puts it. This style is often more complex than the Stick style buildings it is applied to. An example:

It is of course true that you can't have two synonymous categories in one and the same tag. Nonetheless it ought to be possible to enter a synonym and have the system remember which specific synonym was used. This was a bug that we managed to get fixed many years ago. But now it's back, apparently.
I don't know what to say. Disappointing?
Chance to get it fixed? Your guess is as good as mine (ie: close to zero, like every other bug). Unless someone can influence AK to start caring again. |

Well "gravesite" shouldn't be a synonym...a grave site us a singular plot where someone is buried. It should be it's own category.
We apparently have "grave" but really, it should be "gravesite", perhaps grave and gravesite should be linked instead?

But I'm having trouble making it happen. At the moment I've managed to de-link [gravesite] from [cemetery], but setting it up as a synonym to [grave] isn't working. Don't know why. Perhaps waiting a day will have some effect (as it sometimes does). |
