I think what you see is the clash of two big polygon. There is some misunderstanding, user wgsj has tagged the place for deletion. By now it is gone.
He just said "...will be deleted within two hours" because that's the way Wikimapia works, nothing disappears immediately. That is to prevent that a vandal would deliberately delete something that should no be deleted - other users have the opportunity to stop the deletion process. |

No, When I created the place, I was not registered, I was "Guest", now I wanted it to get deleted, so I joined "Wikimapia" now, so I guess only other "top level" users can delete the Guest's comment and place.
Can you delete them? |

I have called them yesterday and they informed the prices have been finalised and letters will be sent in 2 weeks time. They said per/sqr feet price will be Rs. 4000/- all inclusive approx. I am not sure if I want to trust this info until I see this on their letter. I request everyone to wait for their letter first before you make any decisions. If they are selling these flats at 4000/sq feet, I must say its a ridiculously expensive affair.

I just edited the tag....looks fine to me. It's a HUGE tag but no problem with it! It is a legit object and has a wikipedia reference with a map (which is what I added). |

If you are referring to '2490 Gordon Drive Florida', I can't find anything that reveal any personal name in that tag. The only thing I removed in that tag was a Wikipedia link to 'The Fresh Market' which I removed as it has nothing to do with the house tag. |

Hi Teresa,
Thank you for removing that link. The owners' name was previously on the page roughly 6 months ago (but was removed by wikimapia) but Google somehow still ties the wikimapia page to the owners' name in Google searches, so we have contacted some companies to try to solve this without luck. Google did update its snippet of the page on search results, but we still cannot figure out how the name is still tied to the wikimapia page after so much time passing.
Is there any chance of removing the page entirely? Any other ideas? Thanks so much.

| Unfortunately if anything is contained in Google's cache, we can't do anything about. You need to write to Google to find out when are they are likely to clear their cache or data base or request if that can be erased. |

Unfortunately even deleting the whole object itself is no guarantee that it will not come up in a search...even deleted wikimapia items come up in a Google search...this is now an issue that has to go thru Google! |

Although the latter has objects attached to it, the street is still a later edition and should be the street name to be removed and then add the objects to the original street.
