I strongly agree with this. An open project would encourage more developers to join and participate. The code would improve faster. The project would be more responsive to the needs of the community.

The thing is (and it will always remain this way I guess) the Admins sadly never
consider advizing anyone about anything "before" acting or "implementing" this site.
Wikimapia is their site and we have nothing to ask...:-(
I really (still hope) think communication could be improved... |

Administrative dictatorship hasn't changed in spite of so many petition signatures. Can you imagine if it would ever change at all without it??? |
