My intention behind previous request was because, the place which I had created was visible from google search and it will land the searcher to <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.geodeg.com">www.geodeg.com<;!-- m -->. There we can see four fields named, Place, Location, Category, and Description. Under Description there is a an active link displayed as "Show on wikimapia.org". This will take us to wikimapia.org/[color=#FF4000:3dh9i9xb]0000[/color:3dh9i9xb](I had [color=#FF4000:3dh9i9xb]deleted[/color:3dh9i9xb] the number because of security reasons)/deleted
It says that "This place was deleted, it will be removed from all search engines in few weeks". However anyone can see the coordinates which is visible on the lower portion of the page. Have you came across this issue before or any of the users had reported such an issue. How to get rid of geodeg.com from displaying my location(In Wikimapia). I have deleted other places before years and still I can see this buggy message "This place was deleted, it will be removed from all search engines in few weeks". |

I'm not familiar with Geodeg. It seems, however, to just be a back door to WM data. And Geodeg is not displaying your location. It is providing a link to WM that then shows the location.
I can't try to search for your location (since I don't know what it is) but I did try to search for a place in my own neighbourhood that was deleted, and it did NOT show up on Geodeg. I have no idea how your place and "my" place are different.
What I [u:1l6jufgz]can[/u:1l6jufgz] suggest is that you "enhance" your WM deletion, however. By that I mean that you obliterate the title and description as well as shrink the outline and move it to an incorrect location. To do that you will have to undelete it first of course, and then redelete it again. And in the end, these changes are still visible in the tag history, but your info is hidden another level or two deeper, which is as good as you're going to get here. |
