This may be a problem on my end only, however, Just today I have noticed a big delay in WM's response, after sending a command. Like pressing send after typing in a post to the forum. It sometimes takes too much time for the system to respond and I get a window that says it has timed out. Retry? I press Retry and by then the system has updated and the post is completed. This is not the only function that is experiencing the delay. Most any command is met with a relatively large delay. I was not seeing this happen last night, or before. Perhaps the system is extraordinarily busy today.

I am using Firefox 3.5.8 on a Windows P4 machine / 2.4 Ghz / 1.5 Gig of RAM.

It is not just on your end. WM has had some slow responses for several days. I think this may be due to programming updates by the site developers.

Sometimes it takes a minute or two to respond.

Thanks Ren. I haven't yet had to wait that long, yet, but I knew something wasn't right.

We will hope for more speed soon. ;o)

>>i cant edit roads<<

That might be because of your "experience level". Users have been complaining that they get a message that their "experience level" is too low for them to be editing roads. This is a security feature to reduce vandalism by newly registered/ low place number users.

>>i cant edit roads in Wikimapia third time i send you this message kindly resolve it.<<

[b:1iiu4bcp]Sorry, no. You need to resolve this yourself.[/b:1iiu4bcp]

You need to tag more places to get your "experience level" higher. Apparently, 26 places is not enough to let you create roads.

[b:1iiu4bcp]Solution? Tag more places until your "experience level" is high enough.[/b:1iiu4bcp]

>>Tag more places until your "experience level" is high enough.<<

Please make sure you tag useful places which comply with Wikimapia rules.
Do not be tempted to tag blindly just to increase your experience level.
