Yes this is where they shot "Born on the 4th of July", also some of FPJ movies like; Panday,Lihim ng Guadalupe,etc. and also "Stryker", a Hollywood film,just like Mad Max,they even got Michael de Mesa, Tony Carreon, and Amay Bisaya as among the casts. Lots of movies local and foreign has been shot in this desert like sand dunes of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
