This is a state guesthouse that DPRK President Kim il Sung provided for visiting heads of state from countries allied to him through communist or Non Aligned connections. It is a traditional Korean palace design with green gabled roofs. Guests here have included Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Libya's Muammar Qaddafi, Yugoslavia's Marshall Tito and Romanian communist leader Nicolae Ceausescu.
