Look at the dirty water going from this area! Poor sea... naawa naman ako sa mga isda, lalo na mga taong gumawa nito-nawalan sila ng galang sa dagat.

What's wrong with this picture? Just look where all these mess is going from. Came from the people living in this area (ang dumi!!) tignan niyo ang dumi na linalabas niyo sa dagat! The dirt from the factories and the city going out to the sea.... poor sea.

Every river on earth brings silt and organic matter into the ocean. From above, that is what it looks like.

This from a fellow visitor from Canada.

That's normal. You are in the Philippines. Under the Philippine Government, we are one big trash can where people can throw anything and anywhere, destroy anything, shit anywhere, vomit anywhere, piss anywhere, throw garbage anywhere, throw dead people, animals, plants, etc. anywhere to our hearts desire. Ganyan tayo ka-barubal, burara, salaula, dugyot, kutchina, patapon. Unless we learn from our mistakes. Baurang itinapon, babalik din sa iyo. Landslide anywhere, sanay na tayo diyan. Di na bago yan. Tuwang tuwa ang malakanyang pag may ganyan. Fund raising, pero diretso sa bulsa nila yan. One thing I want to say. To take my message across. "Our Government is full of bullshit!!"

would like to see a closer picture of this river. it certainly looks more like natural silting. We have rivers that look like this from high up in the UK. I can understand Ignoramus being angry, but he has to visit that river and let us know if it is industrial contamination or natural silt. There are several rivers in the UK that have silted up so much that you can walk across them. This has happened only since i was a boy. I used to watch ships coming into one river, but the water is so shallow now and all the boats go elsewhere.

That is actually the place where the river water meets the sea water. It's been like that ever since. There are no factories in Cotabato City so that did not come from pollution. That is a natural process. That river is the Rio Grande de Mindanao. It is always muddy.
