Episkopi

Episkopi is a historical village located next to the homonymous bridge, that connects the prefectures of Evrytania and Etoloakarnania. Episkopi was a large village but in 1965, when the construction of the dam of Kremasta began, which created the homonymous artificial lake, the village of Episkopi and the other smaller villages in the area were covered with water. Some residents, however, remained in the area and built a small village next to the bridge.
