  The fairgrounds is the site of a wide variety of activiites throughout the year. In late October it hosts the Fair with its multi-colored rides, livestock, vendors and entertainers. In November, there is an enormous Arts and Crafts gathering with vendors from all over the country. The event is sponsored by the Junior League which charges a small fee for entry. This is an annual 'must go' for many Tallahassee residents as it offers an incredible array of unique items just in time for the holiday buying season! In January, its the Bird Show and in February, the Ochlocknee River Kennel Club sponsors a full weekend of Dog-related activites. The Dog Show offers an AKC Conformation competition on both Saturday and Sunday as well as Agility, Rally and Obedience competitions, vendors and dog health services. (Specifics vary each year.) For the rest of the year, the site hosts Car Shows, Car Sales, RV exhibits and other exhibits. It serves the area well but may be reaching the limit of what it can offer as talk is now afoot about a new, larger facility with more of everything.
