Montezuma Hills

The Montezuma Hills comprise a small range of low-elevation hills at the northern banks of the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta and southwestern Sacramento Valley. in southern Solano County, California.

The Montezuma Hills Wind Resource Area (MHWRA), the site of a number of wind farms, takes up a large part of the Montezuma Hills.
The following wind farms are/were in the area:
Shiloh I - 2006 - 150 MW - 150 GE 1.5sl turbines
Shiloh II - 2008 - 150 MW - 75 REpower MM92 turbines
Shiloh III - 2011 - 102.5 MW - 50 Senvion MM92/2050 turbines
Shiloh IV - 2013 - 102.5 MW - 50 Senvion MM92/2050 turbines
Montezuma 1 - 2010 - 36.8 MW - 16 Siemens SWT-2.3-101 turbines
Montezuma 2 - 2012 - 78.2 MW - 34 Siemens SWT-2.3-101 turbines
Solano 1 - 2003/2004 - 15.18 MW - 23 Vestas V47/660 turbines
Solano 2 - 2006/2007 - 87 MW - 29 Vestas V90/3000 turbines
Solano 3 - 2012 - 127.8 MW - 55 Vestas V90/3000 and V90/1800 turbines
High Winds - 2003 - 162 MW - 90 Vestas V80/1800 turbines
EnXco 5 - 1989/1990 - 600 Kenetech KCS-56-100 (100-kW) turbines - now decommissioned, but 20 trestle towers are still standing (2017)
EnXco 5 RePower - 2006 - 9 MW - 6 GE 1.5sle turbines
