  Värmullsåsen is a recreation area for people living in Hagfors. Earlier it had also an alpine skicenter, but at the moment the activity is closed. The alpine skicenter had the longest alpine skislope south of the Swedish mountains (fjällen)(read Åre)around 1600m long run. The authority tries to find a solution of the problem and wish to open it again if they find anyone who can take care the alpine skicenter. It is really a gold mine for the one who has an enterprising attitude. The view from the top of the mountain are astoning and from the lookout tower you can see most part of the county Varmland. The view is about 50-60km in all directions.
