Uiju Namdaemun (Ŭiju)

(의주 남대문/義州南大門)
Lying in the heart of the old city, Uiju's South Gate (Namdaemun) was first built in 1617 and rebuilt in 1769. The Uiju South Gate played the important role as gateway to the northern defense in the Koryo to Joseon dynasties.
