Original home of Colonel Alfred Horatio Belo, founder of The Dallas Morning News. Constructed in 1890, the house is now the home of the Dallas Bar Association and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
When Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were ambushed and shot to death in Louisiana in 1934, Clyde Barrow's body was placed on view in this building and was visited by an estimated 30,000 people.
