  • The description above does no justice to this gem of a museum. There are dozens of buddahs an incredible breadth of paintings and ceramics. The gallery containing the art and artifacts of the ethnic minorities was very cool including tow canoes built by the indigenous people of Taiwan which impressed greatly. Anthropology buffs will appreciated the scale models of the ceramics village and the reconstructed cannon kiln. This is a must see on any trip to Shanghai.
