Yuecheng reservoir is located at the mountain puss of Zhanghe river upstream Zhangweinan canal, with total reservoir volume of 1.3 billion cu.m, controlling a basin area of 18,100km2, which accounts for 99.4% of the Zhanghe basin. Major functions include flood prevention, irrigation, urban water and power supply.
