Chimney Vent (Cork (Corcaigh))


large stone chimey vent originally built to relieve steam and smoke from the railway tunnel that runs underneath (part of the main Cork-Dublin railway line). All trains on this route are now diesel. There is an interesting metal sculpture of an old steam engine nearby.
