Proposed Compost Pit + Sorting Centre (Pune)

Compost Pit was proposed and accepted in the PMC Participatory Budget in 2007. For 2008, a Sorting Centre is suggested. All the solid waste, segregated at source into Recyclables, Non-recylables and Organics should be brought here by SWACH door step collectors for further processing/ packaging and collection by PMC.
