Oldest Surau (small mosque) in Bandar Baru Bangi. Said to have been Wakaf (gift) to the people in the area during the early years of the Bandar Baru Bangi township development. Taking one unit of a Semi-Detached house, the Surau is able to accommodate up to 200 people at any prayer time after it was expended in early 80s'. The Surau receives steady upgrades over the years to cater for its masses. Located on a slope, much higher than most of Bandar Baru Bangi, the Azan (calling for prayer) can be heard as far as 10km, towards Bandar Baru Bangi Industrial site. Its location provides limited access to vehicles, but is well located within walking distances for people within the area.
