The site of Coburn Road Railway station (originally called Old Ford Station) All that is left to indicate the stations pressence is a plaque on the wall and the remains of the entrance archway to the station. The station built by the Great Eastern Railway on the main line running out of Liverpool Street station in London. Coborn Road opened to the public in 1865, it closed in 1946. The nearby Underground lines at Bow Road or Mile End offered greater connectivity
