Museum of St. James (Montego Bay)

This small town museum is build on the place, where the court house used to be. The historic court house burnt down in 1969. Only the basement was there for decades. In 2001 a new building was erected on the old basement. The british queen opend it in 2002. The museum is open to the public tuesday to thursday 9.30am to 4.30pm, friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm and saturdays from 10.30am to 2.30pm. It may be closed for public functions. The entry cover is 3 US $.
