Home of the Philipse family, ca. 1682-1776 which has a 1750 papier-mâché and plaster Rococo ceiling, one of two in-situ ceilings of its type in the United States. Formerly the location of first City Hall in Yonkers, it is now a museum of history, art and architecture.
