I'm really not a fan of the light wood. It's bourgeois and I think it's going to age badly. Oh, and John DeMain is TOTALLY overrated. Outstanding orchestra, though--too bad the conductor is bringing them down.

It beautifully fits within all of the odd spatial constraints of downtown Madison. Overture Hall has plenty nice acoustics. How can it age badly in a town full of buildings that look like the Humanities Building?
