A privately owned h-43 crashed here in 1989 while lifting a large air conditioner unit off the apartment building across the street. The pilot lost control when the tail rotor stopped working and the chopper went into an unrecoverable spin. The pilot survived with only minor injuries but major injuries to his rep.
