The museum uses the building of the first Kyiv pharmacy, founded in 1728 by a German named Johann Geiter. It's located in-between three churches: St. Flor and Lavr's church, Petropavlivska (Peter and Paul’s) church and Mykoly Prytyska church. The museum has 12 halls with its exposition representing the development of pharmacy since ancient times up to present days. In the basement of the museum there are installations - alchemists vault and a sorceress' hut.
