  • Well, less a nature reserve, than a graveyard that got away. From plague burials to 1949 deaths the site has been used since at least Roman times. I would guess that it became a "nature reserve" because the funds were no longer there to maintain it. When walking through it it is clear that some people are making an effort to find their ancestors and clear out the brush about their grave. A great place to be on a halloween night........Boo!
