Built in 1875, the Amman-Wepfer Cotton Mill was well known for the high quality standards of its cotton, and has been very important for the economic and social development of Pordenone.
The cotton mill was closed in the Eighties, and now lies abandoned as a great example of industrial archeology.
Some rumors say that it's gonna be torn down to build a residential/commercial complex.
The eldest part of the stucture (mostly all of the sheds you can see from the access street) is now collapsed, but the buildings on the left are still in good conditions.
Some years ago you could still find old registers and other documents but now they all got lost due to a fire set by some idiots.
