Waigeo is an island in West Papua province of eastern Indonesia. It is located in the Raja Ampat Islands archipelago, between Halmahera and the northwest coast of Papua. It is the largest of the four main islands in the Raja Ampat Islands archipelago, a series of four adjacent island groups located in the western part of the Bird's Head (Vogelkoop) Papua Island. Administratively, this group is under the Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia
