Built in 1908 and renovated in time for the 1997 Fair, the stately Administration Building serves as the year-round office of the Iowa State Fair, as well as a residence for Fair Board members during annual Fairs. Encircled by wide, shady porches and built of red brick trimmed with light colored stone, it is also a nostalgic reminder of the historic significance of Fair architecture.
