Roosevelt University/Auditorium Building (Chicago, Illinois)

Roosevelt University aspires to be a national leader in educating socially conscious citizens for active and dedicated lives as leaders in their professions and their communities. www.roosevelt.edu

Built in 1889 this was one of the first multi-use buildings constructed and was designed by Louis Sullivan and his partner Dankmar Adler. It originally housed a hotel, offices and a 4,300 seat theatre. In 1946, it became home to Roosevelt University and the auditorium was restored most recently in 2001.
