Monarch Court (Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania)

Added when a portion of North Franklin Street was closed to vehicular traffic with a cul-de-sac in front of Holy Cross Hall in the early-2000s, Monarch Court is basically the campus commons. During fair weather it's not uncommon to find students playing frisbee or football, sun bathing, or demonstrating. Various events are held here throughout the year, and each late-Fall the campus comes together for the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
