Built in 1912, employing more than 2,500 people at its peak in the early 1920s. This was at one time a state-of-the-art locomotive shop and a rail facility that included a roundhouse, powerhouse, car shop, planning mill, truck stop and other structures for the Delaware & Hudson Railway. This was the main repair location for locomotives on the entire D&H line, from Wilkes Barre, PA to Montreal. Several important technical advances in railroad mechanical engineering were developed at the facility until it closed in the 1980s. It had become an eyesore and a public nuisance, prone to vandalism and arson, until much of the complex was demolished in 2004 because of unsafe conditions. What little remains is still prone to suspicious fire department activity.

Property owned by Guilford /Pan Am Railways today.
