Glen Echo Park
Historic former amusement park that the National Park Service operates. Now hosts a variety of arts, environmental and history programs, including dancing, art exhibitions and performing arts. Major features include a historic trolley, a historic carousel and a renovated ballroom.

The Coaster Dips came to the park in 1921. Higher climbs and deeper dips added over the next 48 years guaranteed the ride remained a favorite. The roller coaster was dismantled after the park closed in 1968.
