  • This artificial lake was built around 1927 by the Puertorrican govermentIt was mainly used for the irrigation of some areas in the town of Isabela.A series of tunnels were constructed to bring water to the nearby towns of Aguadilla and Isabela.This area was one of the firsts to have electricicity powered by the water of this lake.It is located at about 10 miles from the town of Camuy and the intersection of highway 2 and road 119 .It is located in the center of the Guarionex mountain range.
