Granger is census-designated place in St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States. The population was 30,465 at the 2010 census. Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation and the South Bend School Corporation maintain the public schools in the area. Granger is part of the South Bend–Mishawaka, IN-MI, Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the larger Michiana region.

Due to the accelerated growth of the city of Mishawaka, within the next 20 years, half of the Granger area will be annexed in Mishawaka under the 2025 city plan of Mishawaka as discussed in the 2005 State of the City address in Mishawaka. Currently portions along State Route 23, Gumwood Road, University Drive, Cleveland Road, Fir Road, & Capital Avenue have been annexed into the city of Mishawaka. Within 20 years the city boundary will extend as far north as the Indiana/Michigan state line and as far east as the St. Joseph County/Elkhart County county line.
