This junction is the A4303 which leads to Lutterworth, Magna Park and A5 at Cross in Hand Rbt. The A4304 as secondary A Road is available by this junction. (M1 J20)

Also, history shows the A4303 and A4304 were originally the A427 which used to run from A5 (that part has become the A4303 as a dual carriageway) at Cross-In-Hand to Corby. (Stretch from M1 to Market Harborough has become A4304).

The estimation of the reclassification has been found to be between 1996 and 1999. It was downgraded to discourage traffic from using it, and to make it sound less important.
