A football stadium for 5,000 viewers was built in 1986.
The official opening was scheduled for May 1, 1986. But the arena was never opened because of the Chornobyl disaster few days before - April 26, 1986.

  • Notice how the grassy field area of the soccer stadium is overgrown with trees that have taken root and are now nearly fully grown. This is a testament to how "civilization" will quickly revert back to nature without man doing his part to prevent it from happening. This once beautiful city is now becoming almost like a jungle village.
