This is the USS Hoga, a veteran of the Pearl Harbor attack, one of only two ships present 7 December 1941 now surviving (the other being USCGC Taney, now part of the Baltimore Maritime Museum). She served valiantly during the attack and later went on to serve the City of Oakland as a fireboat. She is currently awaiting movement to Little Rock Arkansas to serve her days out as a museum ship, befitting her 60 years of continuous service.
